Smart Lamps By Smart Companies ( Samsung, LG)

Probably the coolest Android related product I’ve seen in a while would be this new Android Neon lamp that has just been made available from Google. Nothing says “lets party!” than a cool little neon Android lamp, right? The price isn’t exactly cheap at $36.40.but i was wrong,it is not the only coolest product in Lamps.Lg and Samsung is also working on coolest and amazing Lamps.Some days ago Lg launched its first smart Lamp called 

Just when you thought everything was ‘smart’, a company announces something new. This time around is LG with the all new Smart Lamp light bulb. The light bulb will connect to your Android device as long as it is running at least Android 4.3 or iOS 6 devices. LG says the Smart Lamp light bulbs will run for ten years if they remain on for around five hours per day.

So what do the light bulbs actually do? There is a security mode to turn on when you are not home in order to imitate someone actually being present. Also, unsurprisingly, the bulbs can enter a mode that matches the songs streaming from your Android device. And when someone calls, the light bulbs will let you know courtesy of some flashes. When available, LG’s Smart Lamp ligh bulbs will retail for around $32 in the United States (or 35,000 won in South Korea).And after some days the Samsung made an announcement to launch the Smart Lamp too with the Samsung's elegant design touch.

Unlike the LG , Samsung’s bulbs will not come with WiFi and will only feature Bluetooth,The bulb will  dim itself down to about 10% with colors that range from warm to cool. The bulb is boasted to have up to 15,000 hours of normal use. That’s about ten years or so. No word on pricing as of yet but you’ll need a Bluetooth hub like ZigBee’s solution to rock this new lighting set up.

Samsung Exynos5 Octa processor 5422 unveiled by Samsung

Samsung Exynos5 Octa processor 5422 is the next Generation processor features eight cores (four ARM® Cortex®- A15™ up to 2.1 GHz for the heavy lifting and four ARM® Cortex®- A7™ up to 1.5 GHz for lighter lifting.) In MWC Samsung says that the new octa-core processor is 34 percent more efficient than previous generations and specially released To “meet the ever-increasing needs of high-resolution displays and complicated computation without sacrificing battery life,”

On top of a speed increase, Samsung is implementing a new hibernation algorithm and mobile image compression that is said to decrease power consumption by 10 percent. The processor also has support for 4K UHD resolution through an advanced Multi Format Codec (MFC). But that’s not the only processor that Samsung is showcasing.

Another processor is the Exynos 5 Hexa (5260). It’s purpose is to bring optimal performance and power efficiency to the mid to high end tier of mobile decives. The processor features two 1.7GHz ARM® Cortex®-A15 cores with four 1.3GHz ARM® Cortex®-A7 cores. The processor boasts a 42 percent over the previous Exynos 5 processors. The processor as support for WQXGA (2560 x 1600) displays. It’s currently in mass production.

It’s anyone’s guess as to when we’ll see the Exynos 5422 go into mass production. It could potentially be ready to go for the Note 4 later this year, but we’ll have to wait and see (seems to be the general pattern of things). One thing is apparent however, and that’s that we’re on the verge of devices with a 4k display.

Microphone and a Speaker will be added to Samsung stylus

US Patent and Trade Mark Office Recently published that Samsung has filed two patents that will potentially improve their S-Pen in the near future with a microphone and speaker built right in. The idea is that the user will be able to make phone calls and perform various voice commands straight through the S-Pen. Comments from Samsung themselves states that they’re hoping the Pen will become an extension of the device and allow people to “substitute the pen for a wireless headset,” even claiming that users can “mount the pen to a shirt pocket or the like and communicate in a phone call using the portable terminal as a base.”

Samsung Galaxy S 4, Note 3 getting KitKat at the end of January, according to French carrier

According to French carrier SFR, the Samsung Galaxy S 4 and Note 3 will be receiving the Android 4.4 KitKat update at the end of next month. This matches with a schedule that was leaked a few weeks ago. Considering the GS4 received Android 4.3 last month, it seems that Samsung is working at a decent pace to make sure its smartphone owners get the latest version of Android. So keep an eye out next month for the update.

Samsung Android devices has Lions share 63% of all Android devices

Samsung Android devices has Lions share of all Android Devices, We can Say that Samsung has been the reigning king, and it doesn't appear that’s going to change anytime soon. As of right now, 63.3% of all Android devices has a Samsung logo on it. This includes phones and tablets, and let’s not forget about phablets or fanblets (whatever they are calling them these days). The next closest manufacturer is HTC with only 6.5%

In Above Graph you  can see that, when it comes to smartphones alone, the top 10 phones represent a 40.2% market share, but Samsung owns a total of 8 of them for a 37.8% market share. Only the HTC One and the DROID RAZR was able to make the list, and their combined market share is only 2.4%. The Galaxy Ace actually has a larger market share than both of these phones,

As we all know that Samsung’s Galaxy Mega was known as the Samsung Fonblet, It now seems that the company wants people to keep saying “fonblet” instead of “phablet.” While speaking at Korea’s Analyst Day, CEO J.K. Shin repeatedly said the new word and it even appeared on a slide during the presentation. The word “phablet” made its way into the Oxford dictionary due to its becoming of a standard term in the industry whenever there is a handset with a very large display. Of course, it is likely that this new term will never gain traction; however, no one ever thought the Galaxy Note series would ever takeoff the way it did. Alright, maybe that’s a little bit of an exaggeration.

Samsung also announced that they would be developing their own 64-bit processor for mobile devices. The chip will be based on one from ARM and then Samsung will make any modifications they please, according to Samsung’s Stephen Woo. He explains that “we will offer the first 64-bit [processor] based on ARM’s own core. After that, we will offer an even more optimized 64-bit [processor] based on our own optimizations.” Samsung is nearing a DIY approach with their future.

Stephen Woo acknowledges that consumers questioned the need for a 64-bit processor, but now they are asking “when can we have that?” Samsung is likely rushing to 64-bit processors because of their competition, particularly Apple. Apple’s iPhone 5s has 64-bit; however, it has largely been unseen as how it will be put to the test. For devices with 4GB of RAM or more, devices are going to need 64-bit processors because the current 32-bit ones can not handle any more memory such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3‘s 3GB of RAM.

"Protection Plus" a plan to take Customer Service to the next level that will essentially be an extended warranty for Samsung devices and consumer appliances,Customer Support is one of the most important pieces of any retail business and Samsung is taking it seriously.That’s a pretty broad scope of a patent, but considering how often Samsung tries to push their mobile business, I think we could expect to see some type of Applecare-esque extended service where you pay some type of fee either up front or month-to-month to get guaranteed coverage regardless of what happens to your device. (Although, the way the patent reads, this could definitely also extend to TVs or even dishwashers)

Samsung has already made strides into getting into the brick and mortar retail space by opening Samsung Experience stores, including some space in Best Buys across the country. They could easily offer warranty services and repairs in those stores, all while making a little extra cash. Plus, it would give consumers a great reason to switch over from Apple products (or any other Android products, for that matter) to a Samsung product.

Authorised Accessories will be allowed to use with Samsung

According to ETNews, Samsung may start locking accessories down with ID chips in order to prevent the usage of unauthorized products with its smartphones and tablets. Given the amount of coverage Samsung battery combustions get even when Samsung's not at fault it's very easy to see why the company would consider such a strategy.

The ETNews article seems to only make explicit mention of smart covers and wireless charging pads, but the logical next step there would be things like batteries and wired chargers. In the case of smart covers, features dependent on the cover - like answering a call while the cover is closed - simply wouldn't work. That is, unless the chip is detected (probably doable through the contacts on the replacement cover for wireless charging), the phone will disable all features related to use of the cover. Given the sketchy nature of the translation, though, the mechanism for action isn't completely clear. It's not obvious whether wireless charging pad would have to be genuine Samsung, or if the cover on the device would have to be genuine Samsung (and work with any charger), or if both would be necessary.

The general notion of Samsung restricting accessory usage on its phones and tablets, though, is just all too believable a story to ignore. Given the continued controversy around its region locking of new devices as a way to crack down on gray market device sales, the accessory market is the next obvious target. Batteries in particular have proven troublesome for Samsung, with counterfeitsreadily available almost anywhere in the world. That has to be a major thorn in the side not only of Samsung's accessories division, but its marketing department - catastrophic battery failures make for devastatingly bad press, as it's an open-ended question of fault until Samsung proves otherwise (as it has generally done, to the company's credit).

Were Samsung to pursue such a strategy with its accessories, doubtless it would go the route Apple has to date - licensing its tech to third-party accessory makers who meet the company's standards. And, likely, are willing to pay a fee for the privilege of selling Samsung-approved products.

Samsung officially revealed their curved-screen device on Samsung Tomorrow. The name would be Galaxy Round.

This smartphone features a curved display, made with the world's first commercialized full HD Super AMOLED flexible display.Screen size of 5.7 inches and a 1080p resolution.quite big screen but Samsung says that the design enables the large screen to be easier to use with one hand. the processor is a 2.3Ghz quad-core (make unknown for now - with LTE Advanced, it may be a Qualcomm) plus 3GB of RAM, and it's got the same 13MP rear camera from the GS4 and Note 3. It's also admirably slim at 7.9mm, though that probably doesn't include the curvature. Software is Samsung's TouchWiz Nature UI plus the aforementioned goodies on top of Android 4.3. Look closely and you can see that it uses the same faux leather style as the Note 3.Samsung has only announced the Galaxy Round for release in South Korea tomorrow at a price of 1,089,000 won - roughly $1000 USD, and about the same price as the Galaxy Note 3.

Phone  With the curved horizontally (or vertically, if you’re holding it landscape), The grip is amazing.
